Firestorm secure external storage units, with the addition of a new eSATA desktop
drive for both consumers and businesses alike.

The Firestorm eSATA Desktop unit is a Plug & Play Hard Drive, allowing it to be
hotswapped whilst the system is already running, saving time and making it as easy
to use as possible. It uses SATA technology and features both USB2.0 and eSATA
connectivity. The high speeds and capacities from 80GB to 1TB means that it is
suitable for almost any purpose, with a throughput which is far superior to USB2.0
or FireWire.

The 3.5" Firestorm is supplied with Syncback synchronisation software, allowing you
to back up files from system to hard drive and synchronise data between the two.
This delivers fast back-ups, accurate restores and full disaster recovery with
minimal manual effort or expertise. The government standard 256bit AES encryption
software ensures your data is 100 per cent secure if it falls into the wrong hands.
It can also be preconfigured with TrueCrypt in order to act as a standalone
encrypted drive. HDDErase software allows users to sanitise their Hard Disks to
ensure any sensitive data is thoroughly removed when no longer required.

Hypertec has developed the Firestorm range to provide flexible storage, high-speed
back-up and total data protection. Housed in an attractive and lightweight aluminium
case, it is equally suited for use as an individual high capacity storage, a disk
backup device for a departmental server, a file transfer system, or as a cache to
store a specific set of data. This USB2.0 & eSATA enclosure is a compete solution
which includes the necessary cables and adapters.
